The McKenney family acquires The Breakers and renovates it inside and out — painting the building its famous bright pink, inspired by classic Florida color schemes.

A New Smyrna Beach Icon

The pink building on the sand is a landmark in its own right — a place for burgers, cold drinks, and a front-row seat to the Atlantic.

Hard to Miss

Look for the Pink.

Tucked under a pair of palms at the beach end of Flagler Avenue, the bright pink exterior has marked the spot since 1990.

Still the same building, still the same spot on the sand — just a fresh coat of that famous Florida pink.
